Position Summary

The Senior Manager of Media Operations & Reporting will be accountable to the Media Global Center of Excellence (Amsterdam) and responsible for developing and optimizing the operational processes and ways of working to support the Media House and external agency partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of agency operations and management, with a proven track record of building efficient and effective media operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop with support from GCOE, and implement, streamlined operational processes and ways of working to support the media planning and buying organization internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, product and north American media leadership to optimize, improve existing processes or recommend new processes to address gaps or identified areas for improvement in collaboration with COE.
  • Ensure efficient and effective media operations by identifying areas of improvement across internal and external ways of working and creating robust processes to support.
  • Manage and maintain documentation and best practices for media planning and buying tools and technologies, including media buying platforms and data management tools including tracking media planning approvals.
  • Identify and make recommendations with GCOE on tools and solutions to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
  • Monitor media budgets and expenditures, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues and managing monthly reporting readout to leadership.
  • Lead NAZ input into global products and projects - providing actionable insights, recommendations and POV from USA and CA media and marketing needs to support the creation of better global solutions as well as USA and CA specific. development of portfolio level leadership and best practices as needed.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve media operations and focus areas such as brand safety, data governance and quality and emerging workflow technology.

Qualifications

  • Background in media, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Prior proven experience in media operations, with a focus on agency operations and management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
  • Agency experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of media buying platforms and data management tools.
  • Experience with operational process improvement, with a focus on streamlining media buying processes.
  • Familiarity with media vendor relationships and negotiations & working with procurement teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive media operations plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM systems is a plus.
