Primary Responsibilities

  • Traceability and Hold and Release Owner
    • Communicate and ensure the execution of all finished good quality hold and release orders for product outside of plant control.
    • Coordinate with collective team to ensure all tasks and communication of hold is completed and aligned with quality.
    • Working with Plant and BU Quality and the distribution network, perform distribution product reconciliation of affected inventory.
    • Become SME in Traceability data, tools, and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance by all 3PLs for timely and accurate coding and communication of blocked stock.
  • Physical Inventory
    • Manage 3rd party handling of $1.3B of finished-goods inventory. Facilitate end-to-end process to minimize traceability gaps.
    • Communicate inventory loss metrics across 100+ distribution centers. Assess warehouse performance and coordinate/lead remediation plans.
    • Support managing and minimizing the warehouse controlled SCL (supply chain losses).
    • Administrator of cycle count policy and procedures at all warehouses, collection of counts, ensure adherence to policy, and remediation for sites that fall below threshold.
    • Own reporting and root cause analysis of inventory counting losses, drive accountability across all Kraft Heinz Plants, Buffers, and Mixing Centers.
    • Continuous development of reporting tools and metrics to effectively control processes, mitigate inventory losses, and drive greater visibility to 3PLs and KHC.
  • Inventory Accuracy
    • Assist in monitoring and communication of inventory accuracy between warehouse management systems (WMS) and systems of record.
    • Assisting warehouses with processing and root cause analysis of SAP IDocs and inventory variances
    • Drive accountability and ownership of inventory accuracy to 3PLs and warehouses through ownership of daily ownership of KPI's and other metric reporting.
  • Support 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) and Warehouse Management System (WMS) startups
    • Provide testing support, on-site cut over assistance, and hyper-care trouble shooting.
    • Conduct training of new INSIDERS on-site, preparing them to support the site independently by the end of the hyper care period.
    • Communication of timelines, resources, expectations, and the importance of inventory accuracy with leadership, management, and end users prior to cutover

Qualifications

  • BS/BA level degree preferred; preferably in Logistics, Accounting, Engineering or Computer Science, or related
  • 3-5 years of Supply Chain experience (Distribution, Product Supply, and/or Quality preferred)
  • Financial knowledge/experience a plus
  • At least 3-5 years of experience with Excel, analytics skills, and presentation skills
  • Up to 30 % travel potential
  • Must be very adept with computer software applications, such as Excel, Access, Power Point, Word
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Cross functional Supply Chain knowledge and connectivity
  • Flexibility, Adaptability, Personal Drive and Leadership
  • Proficient in data analysis, problem solving
  • Ability to prioritize work and work under pressure
  • Ethics and Integrity
  • Experience working with 3rd Party Logistics providers preferred; understanding of warehouse floor operations preferred
  • Experience with SQL preferred
  • Experience with Systems - Warehouse Management Systems, InSite/Trace, SAP
