The Controller is responsible for performing a variety of financial and administrative duties. They are responsible for accounting data entries and management of cashflow.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Reporting: Prepare and review month end reporting package for parent company consolidated reporting in a timely manner. Prepare, review, and analyze monthly cost reporting and budgeting.
  • Account Reconciliation: Perform reconciliation on balance sheet accounts and review reconciliations prepared by other staff.
  • Transactional Accounting: Entering and paying bills, entering item receipts, invoice and processing receivables, and completing payroll files for ADP.
  • Fixed Asset Management: Maintain fixed asset ledger by recording acquisitions and disposals.
  • Periodic reviews of asset register. Perform depreciation entries. Capex budgeting and comparison to actual.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and accrue various local, state, and federal taxes.

Nature & Scope

  • The Controller will maintain accurate records and comply with all laws and company policies at all times. The finance administrator will have high ethics, integrity, and accountability.

Key Requirements

- Education: Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting

- Experience / Background:

  • Experience with accounting software, Microsoft Office software
  • Understanding of bookkeeping procedures, IFRS and GAAP principles, and standard costing

Working Conditions

  • General Office: Work is performed in a typical office environment. Limited demands for movement and lifting. Normal visual, hearing and language acuity required for correspondence and computer usage.

Travel

  • Estimate: 5 % of time.

The salary range for this role, based in West Virginia is $61,800.00 to $77,200.00, range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate'sexperience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
