Position Overview:

We are hyper-focused on providing business outcomes for our clients. We take on the most challenging problems our customers face and provide innovative solutions involving digital, Multi-cloud, data analytics, security, and enterprise architecture strategy. We are comprised of consultants who formerly worked at top firms, data scientists with PhDs from top universities, and engineers with experience in industry and government agencies. We aim to combine business acumen with full-stack technical know-how to develop innovative solutions for our client's most complex challenges.

As a Solution Services Director - Global Service Provider specializing in solutions within the Solutions group, youll be the torchbearer for visionary, next-gen enterprise solutions and function as both a consultant and technical leader. As a consultant, you will meet with the business and IT leaders of our clients, understand their ambitions, and pain points, and develop a vision of how to best solve their problems. As a technical leader, you will actualize the vision by designing engagements involving WWT's service offerings and technical teams. Your role extends beyond identifying and shaping traditional business opportunities. You will spearhead initiatives that delve deep into advanced networking technologies, cloud networking, SDN/NFV, and edge computing, aligning these with emerging business needs in Digital, Cloud, Security, AI, and Analytics domains. You'll navigate clients through the complexities of modern-day network architectures, while also developing competitive business cases, cost estimates, and risk-mitigated pricing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate/Consult/Maximize Account Engagement:

• Work synergistically with WWT account teams and sales units to probe, qualify, and secure business opportunities across both traditional and advanced networking sectors.
• Support and educate others within the organizations in the areas of your expertise
• Participate as needed on Innovation Teams for Emerging Technology Solutions
• Build relationships across the organization to deliver cross-functional solutions including participants from Consulting Services, Application Services, Professional Services, etc.
• Deliver strong analytical, quantitative, and conceptual thinking skills and effective interpersonal and communication skills to ensure successful client projects & team performance.
• Holistic Enterprise Networking Solutions: Lead the sales and technical teams in constructing comprehensive solutions that embrace advanced networking capabilities.

Design/Documentation:

• Participate in the creation of High-Level Designs and Low-Level Designs for areas of expertise
• Design solutions and service offerings
• Generate project support documentation, including procedural documents for implemented systems when scope requires
• Leverage cutting-edge technologies like 5G, SD-WAN, cloud WAN to meet client business objectives, while balancing cost and complexity.
• Craft compelling proposals that highlight not just immediate solutions but also long-term strategies centered on network transformation.

End to End Solution Management/Delivery:

• Implement solutions and service offerings at customer sites-locally, regionally, and nationally as well as provide feedback for improvement
• Work as part of a core team serving WWT's customers, including Consulting Services, Engagement Managers, Enterprise Architects, Managing Directors, and Account Managers contributing to the analysis, design, and implementation of business performance to ensure positive impact and sustainable results.
• Actively pursue business opportunities at large, complex customers; work with clients and internal WWT Teams to develop and negotiate statements of work, including project scope, deliverables, timelines, and costs.
• Develop nuanced cost estimates that factor in the TCO and ROI of transitioning to advanced networking architectures.

Continuous Learning:

• Maintain required level of knowledge on company-offered solutions including the completion of assigned courses and relevant certification exams when applicable.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and advancements within existing technologies

Qualifications:

• Expertise in Networking: At least 8 years of experience focused on complex networking solutions, data center technologies, or a related field in addition to management consulting experience.
• Multi-Domain Proficiency: Track record in creating and closing opportunities not just in traditional areas like Strategy, Cloud, and Digital, but also in Network modernization.
• Financial Acumen: Expert proficiency in financial modeling, including CAPEX/OPEX calculations specific to network and data center transformations.
• Commercial Models: Experience in structuring deals that incorporate Networking as a Service (NaaS) alongside traditional consulting and managed services.
• Communication Skills: High proficiency in articulating complex network solutions to both technical and non-technical senior executives.
• Thought Leadership: Strong capacity for conceptualizing and implementing groundbreaking networking solutions, with a constant desire to stay ahead of industry trends.

• Must have at least 8 years of experience designing, deploying, and implementing Technologies in accordance with industry best practices
• Willing to travel 30-40%
• Fluent understanding of Agile and/or ITIL
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with great attention to detail
• Independent and self-motivated and very thorough worker
• Troubleshooting skills (patience and determination to find and solve problems)
