Endpoint Vulnerability Specialists are members of that team and are primarily responsible for vulnerability remediations and management of enterprise endpoint tools towards that goal. In this role, you will work directly with operations teams and system owners to remediate endpoint vulnerabilities as identified by security through routine processes and periodic penetration testing. These vulnerabilities may result from incomplete patching, End Of Life operating systems\application components, or configuration settings.

How you will contribute:

  • Work with Security and Endpoint Team manager to develop requirements for, and implement endpoint vulnerability management for Endpoints (Desktop, Servers, Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, and future endpoints)
  • Daily assessment of vulnerabilities identified by security and infrastructure teams, prioritizing vulnerability remediation to meet defined Service Level Agreements\timeline(s)
  • Work directly with operations teams and system owners to remediate endpoint vulnerabilities
  • Utilize automated solutions to remediate endpoint vulnerabilities
  • Perform vulnerability remediation tracking and documentation across all endpoints and ensure they meet vulnerability remediation SLAs as described in the Vulnerability Management policy
  • Investigate and resolve inconsistencies in remediation deployments and reporting
  • Work with security teams to develop and produce reporting as needed
  • Manage MECM/SCCM/JAMF patching and future endpoint patch management systems
  • While the primary focus of this position is Endpoint vulnerability remediation, the position works within the larger Endpoint management team and will be asked to perform related duties, as time allows
