Job Summary:

The Sr. VP of Commercial Operations - Biosimilars oversees the strategic direction and execution of commercial operations for Meitheal Pharmaceuticals' biosimilars division. This role is pivotal in driving business growth and ensuring alignment between commercial strategies and organizational objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute contract strategies tailored to the unique landscape of biosimilars, in collaboration with Market Access, Marketing, National Accounts, and Finance departments, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.

* Lead and manage operational budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring financial justification for contract strategies and offerings based on ROI and sound business judgment.

* Provide comprehensive business analytics support, gathering and analyzing market intelligence and competitive data to inform strategic decision-making.

* Oversee the implementation of contract strategies and contracting platforms, including bid processes, negotiations, and pricing analytics.

* Coordinate operational activities such as rebates, chargebacks, and government reporting, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations.

* Evaluate evolving market dynamics and recommend pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness and maximize profitability.

* Serve as a key resource in assessing pricing for potential licensing and acquisition opportunities.

* Manage the annual long-range planning process, driving cross-functional collaboration to optimize organizational profitability.

* Foster collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, including Market Access, Marketing, Legal, Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Quality, and Human Resources, to achieve corporate objectives effectively.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial Operations at Meitheal Pharmaceuticals to drive alignment and maximize the impact of biosimilar therapeutics.

Patient-Centric Approach: Maintain a patient-centric focus in all initiatives and decision-making processes, prioritizing improvements in patient outcomes and access to biosimilar treatments.

Leadership Development: Mentor, manage and develop team members within the Biosimilars division at Meitheal Pharmaceuticals, cultivating talent and fostering a high-performance culture.

Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders including healthcare providers, patient advocacy groups, and industry partners to drive collaboration and support for Meitheal's biosimilars initiatives.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all aspects of Biosimilars business operations at Meitheal Pharmaceuticals.

Thought Leadership: Represent Meitheal Pharmaceuticals as a thought leader in the field of biosimilar therapeutics, participating in industry conferences, publications, and other relevant forums.


Other Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in a business-related discipline, with a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in biosimilars or specialty pharmaceutical sales, marketing, or contract management.

* Demonstrated business acumen, analytical prowess, and strategic thinking abilities.

* Proficiency in strategy development, project management, and problem-solving.

* Sound understanding of pharmaceutical compliance requirements, particularly in the biosimilars space.

* Exceptional negotiation skills and a proven track record of building positive relationships.

* Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with poise and efficacy.
