This hourly (non-exempt) position is responsible for handling multiple functions within the operations area and the mailroom.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Process marketing materials as required - print, cut, mail.
  • Responsible for meeting mailing deadline requirements for various mail pieces.
  • Maintain adequate supplies for the mailroom.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Pick up mail from post office.
  • File/store documents and checks as required.
  • Manage special courier services for mailroom and branches on holidays.
  • Order supplies as necessary for the mailroom and other business units.
  • Run and perform basic maintenance functions for several pieces of machinery.
  • Sort incoming mail from the post office and process deposits, HSA payments and loan payments.
  • Complete verifications of deposits.
  • Scan documents that are delivered via postal service into our document retention repository.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a mailroom setting.
  • Must be able to process work with a very high degree of accuracy.
  • Must have good mathematical skills and knowledge.
  • Must know how to read standard measurements such as millimeters and centimeters.
  • Excellent problem solving skills. Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 products and applications, including the ability to effectively prepare or review documents, procedures, and reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and applications, as well as the ability to understand, adapt and adjust responsibilities/workflows as a result of system upgrades. .
  • A strong desire to learn new technologies and work in a team environment.
  • Must have access to a personal vehicle during the workday to make daily trips to local post office as business dictates.
  • Typical schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be required depending upon business need.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull 20 - 60 pounds regularly (over 50% of the time).
