What to expect on the job:

As a Group Team Lead III, a typical day might include the following:

  • Works safely
  • Coordinates wet end and dry end setups and machine break downs for cleaning purposes
  • Makes sure equipment is cleaned prior to QA checks and sanitizes before production runs
  • Ensures GMP's are being followed by sanitation workers
  • Follows established HLF sanitation steps
  • Checks equipment for damage and reports to Maintenance or Supervisor
  • Knows how to prepare equipment for upcoming Audits and ATP, Allergen and Listeria swabbing
  • Coordinates the removal of waste from production areas in a timely fashion. Coordinates and ensures waste is accurately tracked.
  • Can Order Chemicals from Chemical Supplier
  • Coordinates the cleaning of equipment in the washroom. Including change over equipment
  • Ensures clean room is equipped with appropriate back up equipment per instructions
  • Coordinates the proper storage of equipment in equipment storage area
  • Lead dayshift sanitation crew and ensure instruction from supervisors are carried out daily
  • Sets up second shift sanitation crew for success

This job might be for you if:

  • You have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and two to three years experience in a related field
  • Ability to become forklift certified
  • Ability to become LOTO certified
  • Bilingual preferred English/Spanish

  • Understands usage and mixing of chemicals
  • Lifts 25lbs frequently
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs floor to waist

  • Able to work safely with chemicals
  • Able to work in a humid environment
