Individual Classroom Aide

The Individual Classroom Aide will be responsible for an individual student with developmental disabilities through-out the day. This is a hands on position which requires the employee of intervening in all forms of de-escalation techniques, sit for extended periods on the floor, walk, run, and be able to lift 75 lbs. without prior restrictions in the event of an emergency. The employee would also be responsible for implementing lesson plans, behavior management techniques, provide written detail on completion of goals and objectives, and interact with parents and staff. Must have paraprofessional license or type 39 certification and 30 college credit hours at the 100 level or above. **Our school operates all year long***.
