Description

Using lean manufacturing tools recommends changes in current production methods, standards, tooling, procedures, equipment, plant layout, product design, and employee output as a basis for increasing production, reducing cost, improving safety, morale and quality.
Works on all phases of engineering projects.
Reviews and verifies accuracy of existing procedures, bills of material, and route sheets. Initiates engineering change orders per the engineering change order procedure.
Manages daily line issues as it relates to equipment and production.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology
Manufacturing engineering related experience preferred.
Experience managing projects using lean manufacturing tools and techniques.
Experience in PLC and motion control programming, equipment design, and equipment modifications preferred.
AutoCad experience preferred
Excellent communication skills.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct, motivate, and provide clear direction in a production work environment.
