Manufacturing Engineer
- Using lean manufacturing tools recommends changes in current production methods, standards, tooling, procedures, equipment, plant layout, product design, and employee output as a basis for increasing production, reducing cost, improving safety, morale and quality.
- Works on all phases of engineering projects.
- Reviews and verifies accuracy of existing procedures, bills of material, and route sheets. Initiates engineering change orders per the engineering change order procedure.
- Manages daily line issues as it relates to equipment and production.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology
- Manufacturing engineering related experience preferred.
- Experience managing projects using lean manufacturing tools and techniques.
- Experience in PLC and motion control programming, equipment design, and equipment modifications preferred.
- AutoCad experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct, motivate, and provide clear direction in a production work environment.
